Red's Shoe Barn was started in a converted blacksmith's shop by founder Peter J. "Red" Murray, who bought shoes direct
from the many local factories.
Soon, word of Red's selection, savings and service spread, and in the years to follow Red's added brands from around the world and expanded to become one of New England's largest footwear retailers.
Red's continues to be family owned (son, Patrick M. Murray) and has many long-time employees, including General Manager Dave Whitehouse (since 1958).
Red's Shoe Barn is as fresh and new as the latest styles arriving every day and now features over 100 famous brands from around the world. For over 50 years, Red's has been know for integrity, customer service, and extraordinary values!
